The Keokuk Art Center came to George Washington to work with fifth grade students on creating and painting ornaments.
The students had fun making at least two ornaments, one to take home and the other they shared with the Art Center to be used to decorate a tree that will be auctioned at the Keokuk Art Center’s annual Festival of Trees and Gifts event to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 at River City Mall, 300 Main Street.
The center’s director said that the student ornaments will sure make spirits bright this holiday season.
