Lego Robotics At George Washington

Fourth grade students at George Washington Elementary are participating in the We Do Lego Robotics curriculum, thanks to a partnership with the Lee County Economic Development Group.  The program, which requires students to work in pairs to build and program a Lego project to complete a task, was piloted in four Lee County libraries last year. Dana Millard, marketing and communications manager for LCEDG, offered the use of the kits at no charge to increase access for students. George Washington students are continuing their work with programming, having participated in the Hour of Code in December.
