KHS has been named a STEM BEST Program partner to create an active learning center which will include learning hubs, flexible seating and technology in the current high school library. This will provide a sophisticated space for students to interact with professionals to develop soft skills, job awareness and community partnerships.
Diane Berner, Barb Edler, and Natalie Ulloa completed the application. Anna Westermeyer will manage the schedule for visiting partners and events. Special thanks to our key partners: Tara Hosick, Freeport McMoran, Tiffany Martin, Roquette America, Dana Millard, Lee County Development, and Keokuk Community School District!
