KCSD students eligible for free breakfast and lunch

Dear Parent/Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that Keokuk Community School District will be once again implementing a program available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This year, the program is available for all K-12 students in the Keokuk Community School District.

What does this mean for you and your children attending the school(s) identified below? Great news! All enrolled students of Keokuk Community School District (K-12 grades) are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the school year. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application.

Families with students attending Keokuk Catholic will need to fill out the free/reduced lunch application to determine eligibility for free/reduced lunches.

If you have any questions about this letter, please contact Sarah Hackett, Food Service Director at sarah.hackett@keokukschools.org or 319-526-3717.

Sincerely,

Sarah Hackett
