April 22–25 will be “K”haracter week at Keokuk High School. Sponsored by the Keokuk High School Student Leadership Team, the week will promote the 3 pillars of our Keokuk K-Pride, “Respectful, Responsible, and Ready”.
Members of the student leadership team will be watching for anybody in the high school who is showing leadership and acting with high character. Any student or staff caught “doing good” will be given a small reward for their good deed. Each day will focus on a different pillar of K-Pride.
Tuesday will be Respectful day, Thursday will be Responsible day, and Friday will be Ready day. Anybody “caught” being Respectful on Tuesday, Responsible on Thursday, or Ready on Friday will be given a small reward. They will also be given a ticket that they can turn in over lunch on each of those days and entered into a drawing for a large prize at the end of the week. Students and staff who receive tickets should report during lunch to the hallway next to the main offices (hallway with the bench) to turn in their ticket and get entered into the drawing for the BIG prize on Friday. Go Chiefs!
