March 23, 2018 – Since the spring of 2017, there has been much focus on the creation of a district strategic plan. Ultimately, this plan will be the driving force in district decisions and initiatives as the plan consists of the identified goals and objectives to be measures of our success as a district.

This process initially involved the identification of our five goals, which focus around:

  1. Student achievement
  2. Student development
  3. Community engagement
  4. Effective resource management
  5. Employee excellence

After identifying and defining these five goals, the action steps were discussed and determined. Finally, measures for success were identified and defined.

There has been much input from district stakeholders in this process. Final revisions have been made and below is the final road map, the District Strategic Plan.

This plan insures that we are doing the right work and that our school improvement processes are in check with the goals of the plan. Ultimately, we want to be certain that we are equipping our students with the best possible tools to insure that they are prepared for life with skills consistent with college and career readiness.
