A trip to the pumpkin patch!

We had a perfect day for a trip to the pumpkin patch! We got to feed the fish, talk about the corn and what kinds of products they make with the corn. They got to choose their own gourd and pumpkin to take home.

A Classmate Remembered

Thank you everyone that gave towards the “A Light for Nicole” fundraiser. The $1,835.00 needed for the solar powered stop light was raised and in August the City of Keokuk installed the light.

Apples!

We are getting a head start for Farm to School month in October! Mrs. Hinton’s kindergarten class recently visited Baxter’s Apple Orchard in Nauvoo. The students enjoyed learning about growing apples, peaches and grapes. Students got to taste grape juice and grapes. They also got to pick their own apple to take home.
