Top Readers Earn MVP Status

GW MVP Lunch

Once a month the staff at George Washington reward their top readers (MVP Readers) with a special table in the lunch room.  In order to sit there students need to be on track of their A.R. goal.  Two students from each class who are on track with their goals are picked to sit at the table.  They get to go to lunch early, wear a medal, have a special drink and dessert and we have guest servers come to wait on them. Keokuk fire fighters and high school students have been servers in previous months. Shown here, a group of high school athletes helped serve lunch to a special “MVP” reading table at George Washington Elementary.
