Sportin’ For A Cure

Sportin for a Cure

Green became part of the school colors Friday, at least temporarily, as the school district and the community united to raise awareness of, and money for a cure to Cerebral Palsy.

In a moving pre game ceremony, area children and families were introduced and honored for their determined fight against the disease. Among those recognized (pictured) were Coach Matt McGhghy, his wife, Nicole, and their son, Ben who was born with CP. Prior to the ceremony, the Young Gunz Band entertained the crowd. The ceremony concluded with a balloon release.
