Middle School Holds Career Day

The Keokuk Middle School held a Career Day on November 23 for the 8th grade students. The elective teachers organized the event through their work in PLC (Professional Learning Community), and used their elective classes to present area professionals to speak to the students in breakout style sessions. The sessions were to educate students on occupations and expectations for entry level jobs. The staff and administration of the Keokuk Middle School extend a big thank you to all of our presenters. A follow-up survey will be conducted with the students to help assess the day’s events and future programs. Among the area professionals/organizations in attendance were:
